What AI product photography does
Good product photos sell, and they are usually the most expensive part of putting a product online. AI product photography replaces the studio with software: you photograph the product with your phone, and the system rebuilds the photo around it, with professional light, a clean or styled background and, for anything worn on the body, a model.
The product itself stays as it is. Its shape, color, label and texture come from your photo; what changes is everything around it. That is what makes the result usable as a product photo rather than an illustration.

Three kinds of product photos, from one upload
- Clean studio shots. The product on white or a solid color, evenly lit, for your product page and for marketplaces that ask for a plain main image.
- Styled scenes. The product on marble, linen, wood, by a window or outdoors. Lifestyle shots give the product a context and work well in ads and on social media.
- On a model. Clothing, jewelry, bags, shoes and sunglasses worn by a realistic AI fashion model, so shoppers see size and fit.

How it works
- Photograph the product with your phone, in daylight, with the whole product in the frame.
- Upload it and choose the kind of photo: studio, scene or on a model.
- Pick the background and framing, or upload a background of your own.
- Generate and download. Results arrive in seconds. Make as many variations as you need for the product page, the ads and the feed.
What it costs
You pay in credits. A standard-quality image is 5 credits, a 2K/4K image 7, and a background removal 1. On the larger plans that comes to as little as about $0.59 per image. Plans are billed in US dollars.
There is no shoot day to book and no minimum order: a new product costs the images you make for it. See the plans and prices.
Photos for your store and the marketplaces
Every channel wants something slightly different. A marketplace main image usually has to be the product alone on pure white, while your own store, your ads and your social feed do better with scenes and people. Make the white main image and the lifestyle images from the same upload, so the product looks identical in all of them.
If all you need right now is a clean cut-out, our free background remover gives you a transparent PNG, a pure white JPG or an Amazon-ready main image, in your browser, with no sign-up.

Tips for a better result
- Light beats camera. A phone by a window in daylight is better than a good camera under a yellow ceiling lamp.
- Resolution matters. Keep the short side of the photo at least 640 pixels; the uploader warns you below that.
- One product per photo, filling most of the frame, with nothing covering the label.
- Check before you publish. Compare the result with the real product, especially text on the label, and generate again if something is off.
When to still hire a photographer
AI product photography is built for the everyday work of a store: many products, new arrivals every week, photos needed today. For a flagship campaign with a concept, a specific location and a creative team, a photographer is still the right call. Many stores do both: AI for the catalog, a shoot for the season’s campaign.
Questions
What products does it work for?
Clothing, jewelry, shoes, bags, sunglasses, cosmetics and skincare, home goods and most other physical products that can be photographed clearly.
Do I need professional equipment?
No. A phone photo in good light is enough. The sharper the photo, the more accurate the result.
Will the product look the same?
The system keeps the shape, color, label and texture from your photo and changes the background, the light and the setting. Always check text on labels before publishing.
Can I make white-background images for marketplaces?
Yes. You can generate clean studio shots on white, and background removal costs 1 credit. There is also a free browser-based background remover with an Amazon main-image option.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes, in your store, on marketplaces, in ads and on social media.
