Make an image background transparent
Products and people are cut out automatically; logos and signatures on white paper are cleaned instantly. Download a transparent PNG, free and with no sign-up. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Make an image background transparent
A product, a person, a logo or a signature: upload it and get a PNG with a transparent background. It runs inside your browser, so your photo is never uploaded anywhere.
On first use your browser downloads the removal engine (about 50 MB on a phone) and keeps it, so next time it starts instantly. Works best with one product or one person in the photo. Check very fine edges, such as thin chains or hair, zoomed in.
When you need a transparent PNG
- Placing a product on your own design: a banner, a social post, a catalog page or a presentation.
- A logo on any background: on a dark website header, over a photo, on packaging mock-ups.
- A signature for documents: scan it on white paper, make the paper transparent, and drop it onto a PDF.
- Stickers and print: anything that will be cut along its outline.
Logos and signatures: the paper turns transparent
Choose A logo or signature on white paper before uploading. In this mode the tool does not look for an object; it removes the paper and keeps every stroke, including thin lines and small text. It works instantly, without downloading the removal engine.
For a clean result, photograph the paper flat, in even light, with no shadow from your phone across it. If some of the paper stays, move the tolerance slider until it is gone.
PNG keeps the transparency; JPG does not
JPG has no transparency at all: save a cut-out as JPG and the background becomes white. Keep the PNG for layering. If the file is heavy, the free image compressor can shrink it as WebP, which also keeps transparency. Results keep your photo’s own size, up to 2,560 pixels on the long side.
Questions
How do I make a logo background transparent?
Choose "A logo or signature on white paper", upload a photo or scan of the logo on white, and download the PNG. The white turns transparent and the strokes stay sharp.
Is it free for commercial use?
Yes. No sign-up, no credits and no watermark, up to 20 images per round, and you can use the results in your store, ads and print.
Why did my transparent image turn white?
It was saved or converted as JPG, which cannot store transparency. Download the PNG, or convert to WebP if you need a smaller file.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your own computer or phone.
