Put your product on a white background

Upload a photo and get the product on exact white (255,255,255), or framed to Amazon’s main-image rules. It runs inside your browser, so your photo is never uploaded anywhere.

What is in the photo?

On first use your browser downloads the removal engine (about 50 MB on a phone) and keeps it, so next time it starts instantly. Works best with one product or one person in the photo. Check very fine edges, such as thin chains or hair, zoomed in.

Why marketplaces want a white background

A white background makes every product in a search grid comparable: no room, no table, no shadow from the kitchen lamp. Shoppers scan dozens of thumbnails in a few seconds, and the one that looks clean and consistent gets the click.

Some marketplaces go further and require it. Amazon asks for a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255) on the main image, with the product filling about 85% of the frame, and at least 1,000 pixels on the long side so shoppers can zoom. Choose Amazon in the tool above and it frames the photo to those rules for you.

How to get a clean white background from a phone photo

  • Shoot in daylight, near a window. Soft light gives clean edges; a harsh flash leaves shadows the cut-out has to guess around.
  • Use a background that contrasts with the product. A white mug on a white table loses its edge; put it on something darker for the photo, then make it white here.
  • Fill the frame. The closer the product, the more pixels it has after the background is gone.
  • Check the result against black. Leftover pixels around the edge are invisible on white and obvious on black.

Pure white, not "almost white"

Many editors produce a background of 250 or 252 instead of 255. On a white product page that shows as a faint grey box around your photo. The tool writes exact white, so the image melts into the page. If you need the cut-out on a different background later, download a transparent PNG instead.

Main image on white, the rest in a scene

White is right for the first image. The images after it sell better with context: the product in use, on a person, in a room. IsraModel AI turns the same phone photo into studio and lifestyle shots or puts clothing and jewelry on a realistic AI model.

Questions

Is the white background tool free?

Yes. No sign-up, no credits and no watermark, up to 20 photos per round and as many rounds as you like. Commercial use is allowed.

What does Amazon require for the main image?

A pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), the product filling about 85% of the frame, and at least 1,000 pixels on the longest side so zoom works. The tool's Amazon option produces a square JPG that follows these rules.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The background is removed inside your browser. The first time, the browser downloads the removal engine and keeps it; your photos never leave your device.

Why is there a thin halo around my product?

The original background was close in color to the product, or the edge is soft (hair, fur, glass). Photograph the product on a contrasting background and try again; for very fine edges, the full studio is more precise.
